1. Luis Suarez
Luis Suarez became Barcelona's most expensive signing that season. The Uruguayan bomber was redeemed for a fee of up to 81.7 million euros from Liverpool.
Suarez's debut in Barcelona was delayed due to suspension after biting Giogio Chiellini at the World Cup. However, he later transformed into one of the Blaugrana's best strikers.

Suarez contributed 184 goals in 257 games for Barcelona and won 13 trophies. Suarez's togetherness with Barcelona finally ended in the summer of 2020 after the player left for Atletico Madrid.
2. Marc-Andre ter Stegen
Marc-Andre ter Stegen put in a good performance with Borussia Monchengladbach. This made the German goalkeeper anchored in Barcelona.
Ter Stegen initially did not immediately become Barcelona's main goalkeeper. He has to compete with Claudio Bravo in goal.
Ter Stegen has now become the first choice goalkeeper at the Camp Nou. He has made 275 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish giants.
3. Ivan Rakitic
To improve their midfield, Barcelona brought in Ivan Rakitic. The Croatian midfielder was recruited from Sevilla at a cost of 18 million euros.

4. Claudio Bravo
Claudio Bravo was brought in by Barcelona from Real Sociedad for a fee of 12 million euros. The Chilean goalkeeper became El Barca's first choice doorstop.

However, Bravo's work with Barcelona only lasted two years. He made 75 appearances and won eight trophies.
Bravo then continued his career in the Premier League with Manchester City in 2016. The 38-year-old player has now returned to La Liga with Real Betis.
5. Jeremy Mathieu
Jeremy Mathieu signed for Barcelona from Valencia in 2014 on a four-year contract. The player was redeemed for a fee of 20 million euros.
This French defender was initially targeted to replace the retired Carles Puyol. However, Mathieu was then marginalized after the arrival of Samuel Umtiti from Olympique Lyon
Mathieu lasted three years at Camp Nou and made 91 appearances in all competitions for the Blaugrana. He left Barca in 2017 by joining Sporting CP.
6. Thomas Vermaelen
Thomas Vermaelen brought in Barcelona from Arsenal with high hopes. The arrival of the Belgian player is expected to improve the quality of El Barca's back line.

7. Douglas
Douglas was brought in by Barcelona in the summer of 2014 from Brazilian club Sao Paulo. However, Douglas' career at Camp Nou has often been plagued by injuries.
As a result, the Brazilian player failed to penetrate the Blaugrana main team. Douglas was loaned to Sporting Gijon, Benfica and Sivasspor.
